Preparations for this festival starts much ahead of its time in Zimbabwe and decorations of the houses of this country differ from the other nations and other countries in the respect that while in the rest of the world the residents decorate all the rooms of the house, the Zimbabweans adorn only the main room of their house with various decorative items and instead of Christmas Tree, it is the Ivy Tree, that has become an integral part of the Christmas festivities of this country.
