Home Alone 2

Among all other Christmas movies Home Alone has been always the favorite among the kids community. Home Alone 2 has almost the same star cast in the main roles from the Home Alone1. The production team remains the same too. The full title is Home Alone2: Lost in New Work. After the huge success in the first part the production team the second part shows grown up Kevin. Now he is not alone in his home but alone in the city- New York.

Synopsis

In a year later in 1992 Home Alone2: Lost in New Work hit the cinema halls. But grown up kid Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) is still treated lousily by his Chicago family. This makes him once again wish they'd leave him alone.

This time he reached the airport with his family. But when the family heads to the airport for a vacation in Florida, they're in such a rush that they run too fast for Kevin, and he follows the wrong adult onto a plane boarded for New York. After reaching New York he finds himself alone in the big city all alone. He is not scared but happy. He happily adapts to the situation, exploring the city and having a great time in the suite at the luxurious Plaza Hotel, despite the suspicions of an officious concierge (Tim Curry). Meanwhile, Kevin's old enemies, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), have escaped from jail and are wandering New York, looking to rob toy stores. Here they get their old nemesis and they want to take revenge from the kid. But Kevin again have master plan to defeat the burglars.

Like the first movie this film also has the tight script with full of slapstick comedy scenes. But, the repeatation in the idea somewhere makes Home Alone2: Lost in New Work pales next to its predecessor.

The first one able to show the rage of children toward the adults, with Kevin's lousy treatment of the crooks a seemingly fair return for the treatment he'd been getting from grown-ups in general. In the second movie nothing seems comes in a flow, rather they are coming forcefully. His life on the streets of New York seems almost pastoral, despite his problems with the two crooks. Lastly, the film does not make us to feel that Kevin wants his family back the way he is appeared in Home Alone2: Lost in New Work. But still you should watch the film with your family as its all about refreshment in Christmastime.
