With her broken heart she decides to take a break from her job and have holiday. Through net she meets with Iris in Surrey. They are in same condition and they decide to exchange their home.
In rural Surrey Amanda feels bored, on the other hand Iris is very pleasantly living in the luxurious of Amanda. Iris meets a old man Arthur Abbott (Eli Wallach) who is a script-writer of score in the classic A-list movies. Through him she meets Miles (Jade Black), who has also recently broken his relationship with Maggie. They both compose the entrance note for Arthur.
Meanwhile, Amanda meets Graham (Jude Law), older brother of Iris, who has come to Iris's home in drunken state. But surprisingly they starts liking each other. They go for one night stand. When Graham asks her for the dinner she informs her about her living. But she cannot go. While one she goes to visit Graham's home she comes to know that he is widower with two loving daughters, Sophie and Olivia. Amanda loves them both.
