Without the red with white trimmed hat, Santa Claus won't look that much cute. In the Coca Cola ads Santa got his final image in the 19th century. There along with the all red and white trimmed outfit, he got his red cap in 1931. After he Coca-Cola advertising, the illustrator Swede Haddon Sundblom, imagined Santa Claus wearing a nodding fringed red cap. He may had been associated Santa with elves and gnomes. It is clearly seen that he was influenced by the Swedish Christmas gnomes. There he got this red tipped tailed hat with white fur.
